Tired of Rain…

Friday at Lernerville rained out. Not sure whether to be happy or sad about that. We didn’t get to race but I still have the points lead by 9 points going into the final night of racing this Friday!
We had the choice to go to Sharon Saturday night to go against the FAST series or head out East and go up against the PA Posse. More money was available out East so that’s where we went.
Unfortunately, the night started off horribly. Ran hit so we waited out that delay for almost an hour. Then, the car was so badly bound up in the suspension and I felt totally out of control. We couldn’t diagnose the problem after hotlaps. I ended up finishing 5th in both heats of the 6/6 format. Luckily, I was able to determine where the problem was on the car and we found the issue as soon as I pulled back in. We lined up 19th on the grid but made quick work moving forward. By the end of the race, we had charged to 12th, barely missing 11th by .012 at the line. It would be amazing to see what could happen if we started up front again and in clean air. I know that if I can put a full night together, we could have a solid run!
