The past 2 weeks of racing have been good confidence boosters for our team. We ran 12th on April 9th at Port Royal but feel like we made positive strides with our slick track setup. We started 12th, so frankly, staying in 12th is a solid effort for us.

Our biggest night of the year came this past Saturday. Track was unusually heavy, so good starting positions were crucial. We finished 2nd in the heat race after starting on the pole and finished 4th in the feature after starting 4th. A nice payout and good points night is exactly what we needed in this still young season.

      As the weather starts to warm up, the race will begin to get more intense. The Allstar Circuit of Champions have a 4-race swing in Pennsylvania starting tomorrow, 4/21. Now, while we only plan on attending the Saturday show at Port Royal and Sunday event at Bedford, we still plan to fill our schedule wil local race nights in Western PA, such as the Lernerville opener this Friday 4/22. The weather finally looks like we have a nice weekend ahead and I will do my best to take full advantage of it while its here.

This tire situation looks grim. Suppliers cant keep stock, Hoosier seems to have a labor shortage, and race teams are already low on inventory. Racers might have trouble getting to the track, but speedways need to stay open to make money. It looks to be a difficult situation for everyone. Now while i have no say in this matter, I do hope that we all find a solution that cant still allow all sides to proceed like normal with this 2022 race season.
