Weather has caused this season to suck. Theres no way around it. Its June 13th, and we’ve only run about 12 races. We have 3 wins but cannot form any momentum. I’ve got some setup stuff I need to dial in, but we can’t get to the racetrack to figure out our problems. Our #2 team has been REALLY good when the track has bite, but we’ve been oddly bad as the tracks start to dry off. It is weird, because throughout my entire career, my bread and butter has been slick and slow surfaces. I know we will figure this out, but it just may take some seat time.

Our plan is to race Lernerville tonight, Sharon tomorrow as part of Ohio Speedweek, and then hit up Eldora for our first ever visit next Tuesday. To say I’m excited is an understatement. Will we be competitive? I don’t have the answer to that. Eldora and its teams are a different breed. It’s all top-notch equipment with a ton of talent. But we’re going to give it our best shot and have some fun trying. Just pray that the rain avoids the speedway next week.

To be fair, its not quite summer yet. We are still in Spring until June 22nd. So im going to remain positive here and believe the rain is close to being done and we can finally get rolling on this race season.
