The 2025 race season began Saturday March 15th at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania’s Motor Speedway. The track was juiced up and FAST after an early morning rainstorm. We qualified 2nd overall and won the heat race. A pill draw lined us up starting 3rd in the A-Main. The pace was blistering fast. We darted in and out of lapped traffic while trying to run down the top 2 race cars. We passed for 2nd on lap 6 and passed for the lead on lap 12. We crossed back under a slide job attempt on the final lap before getting through turns 3 & 4 to secure the victory!

The race may quite possibly be the fast sprint car race I participate in during my entire career. Through 20 straight laps, we averaged 131.33 mph! This race was very physically demanding and exhausting. The G-Forces exuded on the body of all these racecar drivers were extremely high. This race required a ton of endurance, stamina, and strength.

On a side note, our success against the FAST on Dirt series is exceptional. Over the past 3 years, I’m confident to believe we have won almost 50% of the FAST races we have supported. And at least 1 victory at all the Western PA tracks they visit. Saturday was another example of success as we left PPMS with another $4000 check.

I am unsure of our upcoming races. This springtime weather is highly unpredictable. Most times its cold, and when it’s not cold, it’s raining. I know for sure our local race season begins on April 18th. But in the meantime, we will see how the schedule develops. Most races would some travel, whether that is out to Ohio or Central PA.
